Getting Started
SongbinderAI is currently available for iPhone and iPad. After installing the app, you can begin adding songs to your library and creating setlists.
Some features use supporting resources that are downloaded when needed. These include the optional on-device AI model and document-recognition resources used for OCR and PDF processing.
Importing Songs
SongbinderAI supports the following file types:
- ChordPro
- Word documents
- Text files
- JPG images
- PNG images
You can also paste song text directly into the app. Song content can be extracted from ChordPro, PDF, Word, and text files. JPG and PNG files are imported as image-based song charts.
Offline Use
Most SongbinderAI features can be used without an internet connection after the necessary supporting resources have been downloaded.
An internet connection may be needed to download the optional AI model, OCR resources, or PDF-processing resources. If those cached resources are cleared or become unavailable, they may need to be downloaded again.
Troubleshooting
Imported song content doesn't look right
Different source files can produce different extraction results, particularly with PDFs and image-based material. Review imported songs before using them in a performance.
The AI feature isn't available
The optional on-device AI model must be downloaded before AI generation can be used. An internet connection is required for the initial download.
OCR or PDF processing isn't working
Make sure the required document-recognition resources are available. If they have been removed from the device, an internet connection may be required to download them again.
Something else isn't working

Does the AI send my songs to an online AI service?
The optional on-device AI model runs locally on your device after it has been downloaded. AI generation does not require an internet connection once the model is installed.
What devices are supported?
